This Australia Day we are celebrating all the things we love. Mostly beer, bicycles, Canberra, and each other. Keeping up our tradition we will again be hosting an Australia Day bike ride but this time we will start at our Mitchell Cannery with a BBQ breakfast from 9am before setting off for the Braddon brewpub around 10am.
From midday in Braddon we???ll be hosting an official ???Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers??? party with a live countdown and social media stream on the tele. Barley Griffin and Crankshaft are nominated this year so we???ll all be watching and hoping to make the list on the day (if you???re yet to vote, get on it now). The triple J hottest 100 will also be playing throughout the day.
On top of all this we???ll be bringing back the much loved pub-game ???Toss the Shrimp on the Barbie??? where you get the chance to compete with plastic prawns and a swinging, smoking, BBQ to win free beer!
