BentSpoke Takes On Good Beer Week Melbourne
2021 Good Beer Week is in full swing starting today and we have so many great events that we are hosting and participating in, and we cannot wait! With so many options, there’s an event for everyone, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Miss Moses Tap Takeover - Friday 14th May
We are kicking the week off at Miss Moses in Brunswick for the Australian Territories Pint of Origin. With a 10-tap takeover on Friday the 14th May to kick off Good Beer Week. We will have a whole range of beers including Crankshaft, which won 1st place in GABS hottest 100 for 2020. we'll be featuring other beers only found at our Braddon BrewPub in Canberra to try on the night and throughout the week from. Miss Moses is open every day from 12pm onwards, so if you're in Brunswick come down for a glass.

Oxford Scholar Beat the Brewer & Wing Eating Comp - Tuesday 18th May
If you love beer and pool, then come join us on Tuesday night from 5pm onwards and show us your pub skills. The BentSpoke team will be on site to challenge anyone to a pool or wing eating competition. We’ll have beers on tap all week long for a Good Beer Week tap takeover. We’re bringing the BentSpoke BrewPub hot wing recipe for a SERIOUSLY BENT hot wing eating challenge, it's hot and delicious!

Hop Wheeler Launch at Prince Alfred in Port Melbourne – Wednesday 19th May
Join us alongside Yakima Chief Hops to launch a spectapular new brew, Hop Wheeler, a part of the EXP beer series, launching exclusive at Prince Alfred in Port Melbourne for Good Beer Week. Come along and meet the BentSpoke and YCH team and hear from the brewer and growers and how this beer has come to brewition. The EXP series is all about experiment and exploring with different hops, products and techniques. This beer will feature select experimental hops from the US and is a tropical delight.
Prince Alfred will have 12 BentSpoke beers on tap plus a 12-pot passport so you can try them all throughout the week. Find us at PA’s on Wednesday night from pm onward on the Wednesday night.

AIBA Awards – Thursday 20th May
Our team will be attending the Australian International Beer Awards. The competition boasts a highly regarded judging panel of industry experts from Australia and around the world. Our very own co-founder and head brewer Richard Watkins is a judge in this year’s AIBA Awards.
GABS Festival Melbourne – Friday 21st May to Sunday 23rd May
The great Australasian beer Spectapular is back in Melbourne this year, and we will have our roller racing in full swing. Challenge your mates and see who can pedal a 200m sprint in the fastest time.
For three whole days, you will be able to find BentSpoke on site with 6 of our favourite beers on tap including Crankshaft, Barley Griffin, Sprocket, Hop Juice, Cluster 8, and our new FreeWheeler series Hop Wheeler. Skywhale Ale is on tap at the GABS container bar, brewed in tandem with Patricia Piccinini who designed the nationally renowned skywhale hot air balloons. The Skywhale Ale is a hazy pale ale brewed with cloudberries. The perfect meal for a flying whale.
Two Birds Brewing Dodgeball Event - Saturday 22nd May
We’re joining the Two Birds crew all day Saturday for the second annual Great Dodgeball Slam. It will be a day of elimination style dodgeball to suit all skill levels. There will be music, Two Birds and BentSpoke beers, and food from some of the best local food trucks, keeping us all well and truly fuelled up to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! If you're in Spotswood, stop by ehe Two Birds venue and participate or be a spectator.
