BentSpoke's Red Nut takes Bronze for Australia at the World Beer Cup!
BentSpoke is thrilled with the announcement, around noon today, from the World Beer Cup in Nashville Tennessee, that the Canberra brewed "Red & Hoppy" Red Nut has won a Bronze Award.
Held every two years the World Beer Cup is the most contested event in the world of beer awards.
This year 2515 breweries from 66 countries entered 8234 beers making the award for Red Nut very special.
Red Nut took out its award in the Double Red Ale category against a field of 54 entries.
BentSpoke co-owner and head brewer Richard Watkins says:
???Tracy and I are absolutely stoked to win a bronze medal for a hoppy beer style (double red ale) in the US. This is one of the biggest awards BentSpoke has ever achieved It???s a reward for dedication to quality???
