Taking Enjoy the Ride to New Heights

BentSpoke Brewing Co. is bringing “Enjoy the Ride” to life with the unveiling of its very own hot-air balloon.  Featuring BentSpoke’s distinctive orange-and-white Crankshaft branding, the full-sized balloon is expected to arrive in Canberra during December or January.  The balloon is set to become an iconic symbol of the independent brewery’s connection to its hometown, which is renowned for Hot Air Ballooning across Australia.

Carrying the BentSpoke Brewing Co. logo and its “Enjoy the Ride” message high above Canberra, the balloon reflects the sense of adventure, independence and enjoyment central to the BentSpoke brand.

BentSpoke Co-Founders Richard Watkins and Tracy Margrain said the balloon was a natural extension of the brewery’s philosophy:

“BentSpoke has always been about enjoying the ride, and it is hard to imagine a better way to bring that idea to life than with our own hot-air balloon.  We are proudly born and brewed in Canberra, and we cannot wait to see the BentSpoke balloon become part of the landscape above our city and around Australia”

The announcement will begin a staged reveal of the balloon’s design ahead of its arrival, with further details about its first inflation and official Canberra launch to be announced closer to the date.

BentSpoke Commercial Director Russell Coughlan said the balloon would create a distinctive new platform for the brewery to engage with customers, retailers, events and the wider Canberra community.

“Enjoy the Ride is more than a tagline for BentSpoke, it captures the way we approach our beer, our brand and the experiences we create.  The balloon gives us a completely new way to share that message while creating something memorable for our consumers.”
