The Can from Canberra does it Again!

What a thrilling win! We were so excited when our beloved Crankshaft was voted Australia's favourite beer 2 years in a row on GABS Hottest 100 craft beer countdown. This is the second year in first place and our 5th year we find ourselves on the podium. With 2,238 beers nominated from 281 breweries across Australia, we are absolutely blown away with the results and would like to thank everyone that voted. It was great to see that our 5 spots on the countdown along with Capital Brewing's 6 spots meant that 11% of the beers in the top 100 had come from Canberra, proving that Canberra is a serious contender in the craft beer market. We also saw 5 from our core range land in the top 100 best in the country including Barley Griffin at #12, Sprocket at #41, Cluster 8 at #45 and Red Nut at #91. Last year was an amazing feeling to see Crankshaft one of our original BrewPub beers make it to the top of the podium, so to see it win that top spot back to back is such a special and exciting thing for our team. We love doing what we do every day and to have Australian's vote for our beer and say that it is their favourite, makes it even more special.
