A classic Irish stout recipe brewed and aged in barrels for 6 months, using special whiskey barrels imported from the independent Teeling Distillery in Dublin, Ireland. The beer has then been racked into the conditioning tank where more of the Teeling's small Batch Whiskey was added along with steeped coffee beans. A unique packaging process has been used to add liquid nitrogen, so make sure to SHAKE to AWAKE this experience. This creates the creamy mouthfeel that balances the whiskey and bitter beer characters. This beer boasts a beautiful balance of dried fruit peel from the whiskey married to roasty, toasted malt characters, with an underlying coffee bitter finish.
