A modern take on the classic pub menu features dishes which incorporate beer, brewing ingredients and highlight great local produce.
A collaboration with local music artists SAFIA. The idea was to use music to change the way the yeast behaves and ultimately contribute to the beer flavour. The resonance of the music in the tank helps the yeast grow and prosper. Herbaceous, slightly grassy, with a touch of coconut hop aromas strike a chord with the super clean, malty palate.
A cleansing ale, this easy drinking mid-strength will keep you well hydrated but in low gear through summer. Dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Featuring tropical fruit hop aromas and a clean finish.

Chocolate, milkshake IPA brewed with Coco Pops, chocolate malt and lactose. Tropical fruit and choccy aromas make way for a sweet but balanced palate.
The very first BentSpoke mash! We thought we’d keep it simple, so we made a fruity, nutty, American inspired hoppy brown ale.
A robust porter with a rich chocolate maltiness, named after Rich and Tracy’s fur babies; Fuggles and Chinook.
A delicious blend of G.F.G and Brindabella Cider, infused with earthy spices to add to the warming effect. Delicious on it's own, or served with a nip of bourbon ($8).

American style barley wine, be careful!!
This Triple IPA is like liquid resin and is crammed full of hops.
A crisp, hoppy Lager named in honour of Thomas Sutcliffe Mort, founder of Australia's first gold mining company.

A traditional sweet stout using Golden Promise malt, amber malt, roast barley, roast malt, chocolate malt, porridge oats and lactose. Roasty burnt toast and sweet mocha aromas make way for a smooth malty palate. Nitrogenation instead of carbonation adds a creamy smooth texture.
Our gluten friendly ginger beer is brewed using ginger root and best served with a lime wedge, super gingery, sweetish palate with a chilli-like kick!
Our 5th birthday beer is here and sure to impress! This Russian Imperial Stout is aged in American oak bourbon barrels for 9 months, then expertly blended with a fresh batch of RIS to bring out the best of its old and new characteristics.

Adelaide have nothing like this, I've never seen such a place. This place is amazing. The food, great beers and the staff are fantastic, some of the Adelaide boys are coming up this weekend and this place is the first cab off the rank for Friday and Saturday. This is by far my most favourite place and I suggest everyone get on it.
This was a great find, and located very near to our hotel. It had a super atmosphere, the staff were very patient in explaining all the beer on tap (my husband thought the beer selection was superb, and he enjoyed the names they were given), and we enjoyed a very good meal here as well. I had an Australian Cheese plate, and my husband had Grilled Sardines on Toast with Potato Salad (as well as a beer paddle). We really enjoyed our time at BentSpoke, our only regret was we didn't have enough days in Canberra to go back!
BentSpoke truly do make the best beer I've ever had, there is something to cater to everyone. The bar staff are extremely knowledgeable so just walk up and tell them what you usually like to drink, or for a completely new experience try what's brewing in the hopinator. 10 out of 5 stars.
5 star The best brewpub I've been to in Australia. I met Richard the owner/brewer and he couldn't have been any nicer. He spent time answering all my questions and really making us feel welcome. This is a great brewery with great people and an awesome culture. Best of all the beer was excellent with a huge variety - 18 taps! There was also a really nice cider and a deceptively tasty low alcohol beer. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
At BentSpoke we believe in looking after our regulars. To make life less of a drag, we offer you the BentSpoke Draughters loyalty program.
